1. Charge Geometry: The geometric shape of shaped charges of the SDP is especially for the system of H - 1 perforation. The shape is so made so as to focus the power of explosives in a well-regulated process, resulting in clean, deep, and well-regulated perforations.
2. Explosive Material: Such shaped charges employ high-energy explosives. The selected explosive is selected carefully in a manner so as to release maximum amount of energy and symmetrical detonation, which is of utmost priority in aiding in desired piercing depth and diameter.
3. Penetration Performance: Such charges have a penetrator capability of penetrating big depths in various forms of formations. The penetrations depth can be controlled depending on well requirements, for example, a few inches and greater than a foot, depending on other factors such as the hardnecks of formations.
The SDP shaped charges have excellent integration capability in gun system of H - 1. The integration capability makes it ideal tool for trouble-free integration, which is convenient for convenient operation and mounting in wellbore. The shaped charges have ideal mounting capability in gun, which gives ideal mounting and guaranteed shoot.
1. Manufacturing Standards: Strict international manufacturing standards of a stringent kind exist in manufacturing shaped charges of SDP. Each of these is inspected stringently for its quality in every manufacturing process so as to provide constant functionality and stability.
2. Testing Procedure: The shaped charges go through various testings before release for usage, for example, detonation test, test for penetrations, and environmental test. The trials make efforts to simulate actual environments in an effort to legitimize functionality and durability of the charges.
1. Insensitive Designing: The shaped charges of SDP have been rendered insensitive to unwanted vibrations, shock, and electrical discharge. This makes such shaped charges non-spontaneous in detoning in case of mounting, handlings, and transportation.
2. Safety Interlocks: With integration of the H - 1 system of perforation, there is inclusion of safety interlocks in an effort to prevent unwanted firings. The interlocks ensure that in controlled and secure environments, there can be detonation of the charges.
